Construction Connect: Episode 2

Before the school year ends, we have one final update coming your way. Since our last update, much progress has been made. Firstly, the concrete work of the two academic buildings is nearly finished. On the west building, the concrete slab for the rooftop layer is in place already, while work is still being done on the fouth floor of the east building

The construction for the dining and gathering hall has also begun. The excavation for this building is finished and work is progressing on the footings and foundations. The building will soon emerge from the ground. One unique aspect of this new facility is the rooftop garden that will supply fresh produce for the in-house kitchen, which is a significant improvement compared to our current situation as we will no longer need to transport food from the Junior School.

During the summer, the construction will continue. The hope is to have all the concrete work for the two academic buildings done by the end of July and the wooden structure for the Dining and Gathering Hall to be set in place by the end of September.

Finally, all the temporary resharing posts that support the floors will be removed during August. This means once additional safety measures are checked off, we may be able to film our third episode inside the actual construction site. We hope you have a great summer and look forward to connecting with you again in the fall with another exciting update!
